SOMArts is requesting proposals for exhibitions in the Main Gallery for the July 2011 – August 2012 season. This request is open to artists, independent curators and arts organizations presenting contemporary work in any medium.

Please read through all documents carefully.  ALL LETTERS OF INTENT MUST BE RECEIVED VIA EMAIL BY 5PM ON THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 18, 2010.

The LOI stands as a preliminary view of the larger project and will be evaluated in consultation with an advisory panel of arts professionals, artists, and curators for full invitation.  Full proposal submission is by invitation only.

Thursday, November 18th, 2010: Letter of Intent is due by 5:00pm.

Wednesday, November 24, 2010: Selected applicants are invited to submit a full application.

Tuesday, December 14, 2010: Full applications are due in the SOMArts office by 5:00pm.

Monday, January 24, 2011: Artists invited to submit full applications are notified of the status of their application.
