Len Musacchia

'Eloign' Oil on Canvas 44 x 24 ------ From his beginnings as a prodigy at twelve, Len Musacchia’s oeuvre encompasses a variety of media ranging from pastels and watercolors to oil on canvas and includes a spectrum of styles from figurative to abstraction covering a continuum of realism to expressionist compositions. The body of work shown in this exhibit represents Mr. Musacchia’s landscape inspired abstractions. Originally from Los Angeles, Len Musacchia graduated B.F.A with honors from Santa Barbara Art Institute (Brooks Art Institute). His mentors include Ken Nack, Jack Shadbolt (one of Canada’s pre-eminent artists) and, most recently, Rick Rodriguez in San Francisco. Len has exhibited in galleries throughout California, most recently at ARTworkSF Gallery in San Francisco, as well as Vancouver, B.C. “The prominent signature of my work is in its diversity; however I express myself, conventionally or not, I have not limited myself to one single set of ideas” – Len Musacchia
